Privacy · End-to-end encryption

Your privacy is not for sale.

InVibee uses end-to-end encryption: your messages are encrypted on your device and no one — not even us — can read them. Privacy is not a premium feature, it is a right.

What does encryption protect?

Text is encrypted before sending. The server stores encrypted content, not readable words. This applies to end-to-end encrypted messages in compatible chats and groups.

This does not mean anonymous metadata or automatic protection for every attachment or historical message. Keep your recovery keys safe: they are needed to recover encrypted content.

Safety and trust

A protected community, without spying on you.

Trust has two sides: knowing who you are talking to and being able to act when something is wrong. Encrypted private conversations remain separate from public-space moderation.

Verified profiles

You can request verification for your profile right in the app: today every request is checked by a person on our team. The checkmark links the profile to a person, not to their popularity.

What is InVibee?

It’s a social network born in Italy. You publish posts, Moments and Vibee, write to your friends with encrypted messages and use the Hub’s mini-apps, such as reminders, lists, shared expenses and events, all with the same account. It works in the browser and with the apps for Android and Windows.

How do I sign up?

Tap “Sign up free” at the top and follow the four steps: account, profile, bio and photo. You need an email address and must be at least 14.

Is InVibee free?

Yes, signing up and using InVibee is free. Optional plans will come later, with InVibee’s own payment system. The feed stays the same for everyone: no plan buys visibility.

Do you sell my data?

No, not to anyone. We don’t even use it to show you ads outside InVibee. Your data is used to run the service and keep it safe: you’ll find everything, explained simply, in the privacy policy.

Are there ads? How are they chosen?

Yes, ads can appear in the feed, always marked as sponsored. By default they are also chosen based on what you wrote in your profile, such as interests, country and age: you can turn this off in your privacy settings. Businesses only see aggregate figures, each covering at least 50 people, never the data of a single person.

Are my messages safe?

In encrypted chats, the text of your messages is encrypted on your device before it leaves: the server only stores the encrypted content. No automatic check, AI included, reads your messages. Photos, videos and voice messages are not encrypted yet: we’re working on it.

How does profile verification work?

You can request it in the app: today every request is checked by a person on our team. Identity verification with SPID and CIE, Italy’s digital identity systems, is coming soon.

I’m a creator: what can I do?

You can publish posts, Moments and Vibee right away, without a special account. Creator subscriptions will arrive together with InVibee’s payment system.

How do I contact support?

In the app, go to Settings → Support and open a request: you can follow it there until you get an answer. Or write to us at team@invibee.com.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Delete account. First, if you like, download a copy of your data with “Export my data”. When you delete your account, your content is erased and the profile becomes anonymous: only the messages already delivered in other people’s chats and what the law requires us to keep remain.
